As soon as the grapes
have reached full maturity,
they are harvested by hand.

“In 2004 I bought a plot of land which was once used to grow Goldmuskateller. I reactivated the vineyard because I am convinced that, with its gentle character, my Goldmuskateller could become an aperitif wine that exactly matches today’s zeitgeist.”

Goldmuskateller is a white grape variety that was probably brought from Greece to Italy in the Middle Ages. The berries are a golden yellow and have an unmistakable aroma of their own. This grape variety must be grown on sunny slopes to ensure optimum development of its typical aroma.

A wine with golden yellow reflexes; captures the senses with its intensive and aromatic character. Lively and seductive, the wine has a surprise in store for even the most demanding wine drinker.

Winemaking The fully mature grapes are brought in in the early morning. They are carefully de-stemmed and crushed. The must is then transferred to fermentation tanks and stored at a controlled temperature.
Maturing At least six months on the lees in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting notes
Color Bright straw yellow.
Smell The intensive aroma that is typical of this grape variety.
Taste Very persistent on the palate, with mild and fruity notes that confer elegance and refinement.
Storage Bottles should be stored horizontally in a cool, dark place with minimal temperature fluctuations and high humidity.
Serving temperature 8-10°C
Recommended glass Young wine glasses.
Wine pairing guide Ideal as an aperitif and an excellent companion to fresh antipasti as well as dishes based on rice and vegetables and also Asian cuisine. Goes well with soft cheeses made from cows’ and goats’ milk.
